What Is PLACE? Inside the Platform Powering Yoffie Real Estate Group

1,100 of us at Disneyland the day after Winners 2026.

There were 1,100 of us at Disneyland this week in matching PLACE t-shirts. You don't get 1,100 top-producing team owners and agents to do that on a calendar invite. You get that when every one of them is 100% confident the company behind them has the best people, the best tools, the best training, the best playbooks, and the best growth opportunities they're going to find anywhere in this business. Professionally, personally, and financially.

That's the thesis. The proof was the two days that came right before it. PLACE Winners 2026 in Anaheim is the twice-annual gathering of team owners, agents, and operations pros who use PLACE's tools, training, and playbooks to crush absurd goals. You can't buy a ticket to Winners. You have to earn your way in. Yoffie Real Estate Group, here in El Dorado Hills, had four of us in the room.

Here's what made the Disneyland photo possible, organized around the five things any agent (and any client) should expect from a real professional partnership.

Agents already doing well and quietly looking at what comes next: feel free to reach out about joining our El Dorado Hills team. No pitch. No commitment. Just a conversation.

What Is the PLACE Real Estate Platform?

PLACE was built by Ben Kinney and Chris Suarez, two of the most productive operators residential real estate has produced in the last 25 years. They give high-performing teams one connected, PLACE-owned technology stack (CRM, transaction management, AI, training, financial benchmarking, lead generation, marketing, HR, mortgages, title, and more on the way) plus one operating model. The result: agents and team leaders run real businesses on real numbers. Nobody's stitching a dozen disconnected subscriptions together with duct tape and hope.

Yoffie Real Estate Group has a business partnership with PLACE. That choice shapes what our clients in El Dorado Hills, Serrano, Blackstone, Folsom, Cameron Park, Tahoe, and everywhere else feel when they work with us. And what an agent gets if they join our team.

1. The Best People

Ben and Chris have built an executive bench around them that reads like a pre-IPO real estate / tech company with nine figures of investment capital from names like Goldman Sachs and Wells Fargo. Because that's exactly what PLACE is.

President Chris Stuart came from Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, where he ran the global real estate franchise network as CEO. Chief Revenue Officer Chris Heller was CEO at Keller Williams and mellohome, and CRO at OJO Labs. CFO Suzanne Colvin scaled Egnyte from $90M to $160M in revenue and was CFO at Napster. Chief Real Estate Officer Brian Gubernick has held nearly every role in this business across 15 years (agent, investor, team owner, brokerage leader, business innovator, TEDx speaker). CAO Ross Clausen led the sale of Homax to a Fortune 200 company. Nikki Miller (Movoto), Jamie Jatzlau (Realtor.com, OpCity, KWRI General Counsel), and Claire Dunham (Homeward, ShippingEasy, OutboundEngine) round out operating leadership.

These aren't the bios of people looking for a job. They're people who thrive on mission, on hitting big goals, and on raising up the people around them. When you work alongside that kind of crew, you can't help but raise your own game.

2. The Best Tools

Two big product updates landed at Winners 2026.

Gabbi is our real estate AI, built directly into the Brivity platform. She drafts emails, scripts, and blog posts from agent notes. She answers the questions agents actually ask: who's most likely to sell next, what houses to send them, what price will get a seller to accept. She reads contracts for accuracy and flags the questions you should be asking. This is AI built around how a real estate business actually runs.

AreaPro is the weather app for the real estate market. You wouldn't head into the wilderness without checking the forecast. You shouldn't head into a real estate decision without knowing the conditions on your specific path. AreaPro doesn't just give you granular local data. It tells you what's happening at the price point, in the neighborhood, on the part of the neighborhood that actually matters to you. Most agents can tell you what the market is doing in town. We can tell you what's happening at any price point, in any neighborhood, on any street. Sharper, faster, more personal. And now it's on our phones too.

On top of those two: personalized direct mail sent right from our CRM, AI-coached calls scored on technique with suggested fixes, an AI meeting note-taker, AI transaction creation, AI reporting, and a roster of role-specific AI agents. The cost of trying to replicate this stack as a solo agent runs well over $1,000 a month in subscriptions, and that doesn't include the training playbooks. Any team leader or broker knows the number gets a lot bigger when you're funding a roster of agents. PLACE makes the line item go away.

3. The Best Training

The morning of Winners 2026 ran on five lessons. Vision before proof. Experience is the product. Every setback is a setup. We are sitting where legends are made. Culture eats strategy. Anyone who has read a sales book in the last 30 years has heard versions of all five.

What's new is the way to actually execute them at the team level. Vision before proof needs a financial benchmarking tool that shows what doubling your business looks like next to producers at your same level. Making experience the product needs a CRM that turns five client touchpoints a year into fifty without losing the human relationship. Culture only eats strategy when the coaching system, the accountability rhythms, and team standards work in sync across 400+ top real estate teams. PLACE supplies all of this.

The line that landed for me from the Winners stage:

"Visualize what you want. Write it down. Build something legendary."

4. The Best Playbooks

The afternoon at Winners shifted from company strategy to personal performance. The headline question was uncomfortable on purpose. What prevents agents from hitting their goals? The answer the room got was four words: "The problem is me."

Three plays to run, each with real systems behind them. Clarity: ruthless specificity on the goal. If you can't list what you need to stop doing in order to hit your goal, your goal isn't sharp enough. Time mastery: most agents lose to the activities that help them avoid the work, well before they ever lose to another agent. The sharpest question on the day was four words: what do I intend to do this hour? Becoming indistractible: external triggers (notifications, interruptions) and internal triggers (boredom, anxiety) are where most goals quietly die.

If you've read Cal Newport or Nir Eyal, the source material will feel familiar. The PLACE version sits inside our Brivity CRM, the calendar, and the call dialer. So agents take it seriously inside the actual work week instead of treating it like a podcast they listen to and forget by Thursday.

5. The Best Growth Opportunities

PLACE is on a public path to an initial public offering. That changes the math on everything. How the platform gets funded. How the executive bench gets recruited. How long the investment in tools and training keeps compounding. And what an agent's economic upside looks like when the company they sit inside is building real equity value.

Professionally, an agent on a PLACE team has access to financial benchmarking against producers at their level, training tied to their own production data, and a structure that turns one good year into a runway.

Personally, the Disneyland photo is the proof. You don't get 1,100 high-producing professionals to wear the same shirt to a theme park because somebody sent a calendar invite. You get it because the leadership is blazing a path you can follow, and the people next to you in line at Space Mountain are people you'd build a big business with.

Financially, the IPO trajectory is the difference between renting a desk inside a brokerage and building a career inside a company that's creating life-changing equity value, and actively pulling you into it.

What This Means for Our Clients and the Agents We're Looking For

For our clients in El Dorado Hills, Serrano, Blackstone, Folsom, Cameron Park, Sacramento, Roseville, Rocklin, Tahoe and beyond: working with Yoffie Real Estate Group means working with a team running on tools and training built by a leadership group with venture-scale operating experience. Our Smart Seller Pricing System™ sits on top of PLACE's data, AI, and client communication tools. You feel that as faster responses, sharper market reads, and a transaction that doesn't drop the ball.

For agents thinking about your next move: you're already paying for tools, training, and infrastructure whether you call it that or not. The real question is what you're getting back, and whether the company behind you is actually going somewhere, or just looks like it while you do all the lifting yourself. If the Disneyland photo is starting to make sense to you, the conversation is worth having. Let's talk!
